Former runner but now efficient on two wheels. I like speed. Like Hector, I have survived some disagreements with motor vehicles- 2017- I broke both my wrists after a car pulled out on me in Greece and in 2019- a van completely wiped me out in Longsight resulting in a broken scapula. Currently celebrating no incidents in 2020/ 2021!

Cycling for 60 years, survived 3 "dooring" accidents and reported hundreds of pot-holes. Still believes that cycling can save the world, but Macclesfield looks likely to be the last place to be saved.

I like bikes, any kind of bikes, and if I had space I’d have everything from BMX to a tricycle. We got a cargo bike for taking the kids to school and they love it, no matter the weather. But of course, it’s much more, it’s a bike for shop run or doing deliveries or just riding. Being part of the ELOV bike team has a double benefit, keeping me fit but also getting out and meeting people whilst providing the delivery service of the future.

My earliest memory of riding bikes was constantly taking my bike to pieces and seeing if would work better in different ways. I guess I like to challenge the norm. I love riding on the roads and on trails and when riding cargo bikes the best thing is the reactions you get… as well as the space and curtesy cars give you on the roads. We regularly get selfies, waves, horns beeped (to say hello) and plenty of smiles.
